Ridgefield resident Siobhan McKinley has launched Organachs, one of the first boutiques in Connecticut to offer a curated selection of luxury organic and natural skincare and makeup brands.
Organachs, located at 15 Post Road W in Westport, fills the need for organic beauty in Fairfield County, according to McKinley, owner, making it possible for locals and former New York City dwellers to find the sought-after and cult following brands featured on beauty trendsetter sites and fashion publications at this boutique where luxury meets farm-to-skin.
“Educating myself on the amount of harmful toxins and chemicals in my personal care products lead me to research the organic beauty industry. After discovering the abundance of high- performing, high-efficacy and result-driven brands on the market, I knew I had to make these healthier alternatives available to women in my neighborhood,” McKinley, a former cosmetics executive, explains. “I felt impassioned to inform my family and friends that these skincare brands will achieve their desired results without the harmful chemicals and toxins.”
Organachs currently carries over 25 natural and organic brands, including VOYA, Bottega Organica, Dr. Alkaitis, Pai Skincare, Earth Tu Face, de Mamiel, Ursa Major, rms beauty, GressaSkin, Suntegrity, Vapour Organic Beauty, Meow Meow Tweet and Maya Chia. Coming soon: Josh Rosebrook Hair Care, an organic perfume collection and additional makeup brands.
